a) NEW - Flex Control Network® Station Playout System
The station playout system is a cost-effective on-air commercial and program playout system for television broadcast stations, providing control over one or more channels of video server playout. Additionally, it will offer ingest/prep functionality, an as-run log, and optional redundant operation.
b) Flex Control Network Machine Control System
Flex Control Network Machine Control System is a flexible control solution for broadcast and production environments. It provides real-time, precise, and reliable machine control solutions over Ethernet - LAN, WAN, VPN, and Internet. With Flex Control Network users can add and change devices, control protocols, and control points whenever and wherever they want without disrupting their workflow. Flex Control Network lets users redistribute the broadcast or production workload at a moment's notice to keep up with late-breaking news, equipment failure, and unexpected personnel changes or other events.
c) NEW - Flex Control Network Bug and Logo Inserter Controller
The Flex Control Network GTP-32 GPI Tally Processor provides powerful bug and logo inserter control. With its combinatorial logic option, users can create simple or complex rules that automatically turn bugs and logo inserters on/off based upon external GPIs or tallies. The controller also allows users to change on/off rules on the fly. The GTP-32 is simple, fast, and easy to set up and use. It now interfaces to the Grass Valley M2100.
d) NEW - 2044CL Instant-Access Clip Controller With Sequence Option
The 2044CL gives users even more power with the sequence playout option. The press of a button loads a single clip, a fill and key clip combination, and now a sequence. Users can play out a list of up to 20 elements on one channel or across eight channels, or quickly and easily build, edit, and save 30 sequence lists for later recall.
e) ST304-DSR1K Controller - Instant Replay and Simultaneous Record/Playback
The ST304-DSR1K provides fast, easy, reliable, and affordable VTR-like control of Sony's DSR-DR1000 DVCAM hard-disk recorder, enabling the user to create, save, and recall clips for instant replays. The ST304-DSR1K supports simultaneous record and playback, so users can mark cue points on-the-fly and play back video instantly without disrupting the record process. The controller features a T-bar for fast, simple, and smooth slow-motion instant replay; 100 cue points per DSR-DR1000; and support of up to two DSR-DR1000s for a two-record and two-playback configuration.
f) NEW - For The Analyst® RS422/RS232 Tester
The new MONITOR mode for The Analyst allows operators to monitor communications among pieces of equipment and view data as ASCII characters in addition to hexadecimal data. This new feature supports 5-, 6-, 7-, or 8-bit data formats and 57,600 and 115,200 baud rates. Available configurations include standard sender/receiver mode, monitor mode, VTR mode, and RS422/RS232 adapter test mode. A LOG option enables data logging, monitor mode, sender/receiver mode, and VTR mode.
