DNF Controls today announced the appointment of John Duggin to vice president of sales. In his new role, Duggin will assemble an international force of direct sellers and dealers that will grow DNF's business and increase its presence in the industry worldwide.

"John came to us with a wealth of experience and a proven record of success in broadcast equipment sales," said Dan Fogel, president of DNF Controls. "He is a valuable asset to our team, and with his help we plan to expand our market share, while maintaining DNF's reputation for quality service and industry innovation."

Duggin brings more than 20 years of experience in broadcast and television equipment sales to DNF. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Digital System Technology Inc., where he helped design, sell, and install the first TV station with a DTV license, taking the company from a start-up to one of the leading system integrators with more than 40 full-time employees.

Previously, he served as vice president of sales for the broadcast television systems division of Philips Electronics N.V. Here, he helped expand the company's share of the U.S. market, and, under his guidance, Philips experienced the largest growth in company history in the U.S. marketplace. Duggin started his career at Video System Network in 1979. He moved on to CMTV, Inc., a start-up, video dealership where he created a West coast presence for the New York-based Camera Mart.
