  • The SW1X8 RS422 Switcher gives your ST200 & ST100 Universal VTR Controllers, Edit Controller or any other RS422 VTR Controller, control of up to 8 VTRs individually or ganged.


  • At the press of a button, select any of 8 VTRs for individual control, select a group of VTRs to control or Gang Roll all 8 VTRs.


  • Connect 2 or more SW1X8 RS422 Switchers together to control more than 8 VTRs: 1 x 16, 1 x 24, etc.


  • Control 8 VTRs from multiple control points. Connect multiple SW1X8 RS422 Swtichers in 2/8 & 3/8 configurations.

    HBO Latin America Streamlines Workflow With Custom Control Solution From DNF Controls

     

    New custom solution streamlines process for backing up program content, simultaneously creates tape dubs during ingest of material

    DNF Controls has delivered a customized control solution to HBO Latin America. The new system streamlines the facility's process for backing up program content by simultaneously creating tape dubs during ingest of material to a Profile® videodisk server from Thomson Grass Valley.

     

    DNF's custom system, based on the company's ST300 controller and SW1x8 RS-422 Port Switcher was designed specifically to simplify workflow and save operator time. Monitoring the facility's Harris automation system as it controls the ingest of program content to the video servers, the DNF controller automatically and simultaneously creates exact clones of the original content for backup.
